If I told you what I think...I'd be arrested!!

Acutally, I like them because I've never seen carbon-look wheels before. So that makes them unique and they look classy to me. Despite my hatred of black/dark wheels, these aren't too bad matie!

It took me a while to get photo's up due to hospital visits from motorcycle accident but here they are. The rims are 18x7.5 AU racing wheels in carbon look.

20's already make the New Swift look like a Tonka toy and don't do anything to improve the slug it already is. Why would you want to go even bigger???

I'm no longer going to be using the car as a daily driver, show and SPL use only so speed is not a worry as it won't be getting driven all that often...

i thought 20's were a ridiculous idea. I think you'll find that 8.5 wide will be your major issue unless you get them with some crazy offest and pump the guards out, not to mention scrubbage in the arches

being that it will be driven, you might find other issues in relation to your clutch and driveline down the track. Good luck and let us know how you go

Sorry CurlyC but Mr. Focus is probably being NICE here. 22s won't work. I did write a massive thing with all the problems involved but it got too long. It just won't work.

Sorry to disappoint guys but i've decided just to stick with 20's.... After all the money i've just spent on the car i don't really want anything to get damaged..

Hi all,

Just out of curiosity would I be crazy to put 215/40/R18 tyres instead of the common 35 profiles on 18" rims?

I just want them to fill the wheel arches more so i only have to lower the car say 25mm.

I have 215/35x18 and the speedo reads high in comparison to the GPS. If memory is correct, going to a slightly higher profile should make the speedo read slightly slower, and if so, this would probably make it read very close to the true speed.
