Hi guys Second time round Swift Sport owner, previously had an 07 which had to sell when it didn't suit the bush area we moved to, now just ordered the current model to be delivered end July some time. Been driving a Triton ute as a Brisbane city commuter, looking forward to some nippier easier parking. Actually also been driving the missus' Holden barina, which is kind of ok, and half the price of a swift, but lacks a lot of 'finesse' .... Will be good to be back in the club Cheers Carl

Hi Everyone, My name is Paul. I am realitvely new to this site and recently put an introduction to myself in the wrong part of the site so I thouht I would start again. I purchased my first ever Suzuki in April this year. I purchased a standard Suzuki Swift Sport 2012 and am looking for a good car tinting service to start with. I included some photos taken from my phone camera so please forgive the quality. I am an I.T contractor and am very new to the car scene. Attachment:

Hey Guys the names Jay. Bought a 2012 pearl white Swift Sport recently and is my first Suzuki. Im changing from a GC8 WRX due to needing a less thirsty petrol car. The swift is stock but I have debadged the s and Suzuki have on the rear trunk. I also have plans for spray painting my rims to a darker colour as they are so hard to clean lol And am going to change the sound system this week.

Hi All. I'm Gib, new to the forums and just got my new 2012 Swift Sport last week. I'm loving the fuel economy. After a week of driving to and from work I'm down to 1/2 tank of petrol, I'd normally be putting another $90.00 of premium in my old 2000 Commodore S by now. Great little car and so much fun to drive.

Hi folks
I recently bought a 2007 swift from an auction as a run about and i'm loving this little car. It's done 58,000k on the clock and I'm looking at getting it serviced and maybe some performance improvements on it, like a chip or something... i'm open to suggestions.
Can anyone recommend a place in Brisbane?
Many thanks
Jon

Hi Jon, don't recommend the chip. Costs $1700 for a chip that you have to send your ECU to Melbourne to get done and only gives a maximum power increase from 74kw to 80kw. And this is only if you start using premium unleaded! Otherwise the increase is only a couple of kilowatts. http://www.powerchipgroup.com/interact/datasheets/datasheets_two.asp?pid=Suz0020Spend the money on a cold air intake and decent exhaust system instead.

Hi Just bought myself a 2007 Swift Sport 2 days ago and absolutely love him. Bought it stock standard with no mods, and already have some planned. Mainly convenience mods, but i like the car the way it is and don't see the point in modifying a perfectly good vehicle. I'm here for cool stuff i can do etc and to learn what not to do from others. Im also looking for those break light stickers. btw my cars name is Sebastian, not mine

Hello names josh,
Been on here for few months now, but have been stalking the site since 2012 reading hours on end great site.
I have a 2010 green suzuki swift extreme 1.5 l (m15a) great nippy car! Which has got much nippier since first owning keep reading.
Ive always loved the car but thought the car doesnt really deserve the "extreme" badge just due to some indicated side mirrors and sports seats...
I come from a bit of a honda-holic past so, love the jap tech small 4 bangers fwd squeel and valve timing control... the swift has never had a major problem even after clocking over 200,000 km with a fair amount of abuse and "redlining" Driving this as a daily I found I really learned to love it and found the things I saw much potential was the handling, the overall chasis and design and most the weight!
For now days it's a bit of a rarety amomst even the smallest hatches to have around 1000kg or less unless your talking about a kei car...and ofcourse besides suzuki's latest swift... anyways got to make do with what youv'e got.
After 4 years of owning this Swift I realised it could really do with another 50+ horses to make it come alive out of the corners, however I couldnt justify selling up and going for the sport. Over the years I came to find the sites very helpful with plenty of knowlegeable people. When I had joined shortly after I Contacted Dave DMW and asked what options he knows of he gave me some options and have started my journey to a custom turbo kit with DMW Dave doing the work for a very reasonable price aswell as his great worksmanship. If you get the chance to get his help with something I wouldn't hesitate.
Swift sport monroe suspension Rear sway bar (to order) Brakes drilled + slotted w/ high heat rated pads DMW Re003 195/60r15 (Great tire awesome in wet + dry) Td04 turbo DMW's custom manifold E-manage blue piggyback ecu DMW
Soon custom DMW gearbox and 4 puck clutch mfactory lsd DMW Varex exaust DMW
Currently car running roughly @6 psi but has made a big differance enjoy it more than ever.
Keep the swifts SWIFT
